Samsung Washing Machine "SUD" Error (how to fix it)
Dude fucking fantastic!!
Hahaha, thanks man!! 🤘
Great video!
Thx dude! 🤘
Exactly what video I need.
🤘🤘
I do not recommend Fram oil filters, problems with them in the past. Also, I recommend adding 4 quarts - running the engine for 1 minute, then adding more oil as needed to reach the proper level on the oil dip stick. I've seen my friends overfill their oil by doing the replace what you removed method (not an accurate method). Also, oil pan bolt torque is important. I've experienced over torquing (stripping out threads) on oil pans - not a fun fix. Otherwise, GREAT video! Thanks!
Fantastic tips! I have switched to the Mobile 1 filters, which seem to be pretty nice. Also started filling to dipstick indicator. But I like your 4-quart idea!
Suspend SC around the perimeter of your house, foundation vents, under trashcans and insects inside will be a rare sighting. One application and you go outside the next morning you’ll see tons of dead bugs.
Sounds rad. I might just try that!
Dude you lost me at FRAM. Only Toyota filter's please everybody they cost the same but have a check valve that keep motor oil in the filter to avoid dry starts.
Fair enough. I switched to Mobile 1 filters some time ago and I believe they have the same check valve in them.
Interesting 120V AC power. Does it have 12V sockets?
Nope. Just USB and the 120V.
This is the video you need to get started with the entertainment system in a Sienna. Forget all the others that claim to offer advice.
Haha, thanks dude!
TYSM for this! Your tips were very helpful ☺️
Very happy to help!
What brand is your hitch and does it ever scrape the ground? Can you tell me the ground clearance of your hitch?
I got that from etrailer.com and it’s their house brand. Ground to bottom of receiver is 8.75” with van fully unloaded. Loaded, that thing will DEFINITELY hit stuff. That said I’m about to order up a 2” lift for this van which should make a big difference.
Thanks for your quick reply. BTW, great video.
Worked like a charm! Thank you!
Right on!! 🤘
Doesn’t the Sienna have replaceable wiper blade inserts? Replacing just the rubber blade insert itself instead of the whole wiper has been much cheaper in my experience.
They do, but the OEM ones cost as much or more than wipers I get at Costco (when on sale). I grabbed a rear one at the dealer for $16! I wanted to keep the OEM look since it’s not hidden like the windshield ones.
I kinda like trying out different brands of wipers, so I typically swap the whole blade assembly out. Plus the originals were pretty faded. But they lasted 3 and half years, so there’s definitely something to be said for the OEM blades. Costco is a great idea for wiper blades. I didn’t even remember to check Costco first!
Are you seeing significant lag when watching videos using CarPlay?
Good question…..I can’t say we’ve ever used it for videos. We only do music, podcasts, maps, phone, and iMessage. No lag issues with any of those.
That thing handles 6" of snow on an unplowed road????
If you have decent tires, it absolutely does!
Did you apply this to a rubber roof or TPO or fiberglass or what?
This was applied to a fiberglass roof.
How is shift under load? This is something Shimano is very good. Did you notice any downgrade in performance?
Great question. I was just on a ride last week and had a few poorly timed shifts where I hit a climb and wasn’t properly geared. I will say that it was pretty clunky in that scenario. Granted I wasn’t helping by trying to grab like 4 gears under heavy load, but it definitely didn’t sound great. Outside of that, it’s pretty solid so far with decent shifting and no issues to speak of.
No bleed? No blue loctite on the mounting bolts? Cool trick on mounting the caliper after removing the rotor!
You don’t need to bleed in most cases, unless you are getting fade when you brake. Or maybe you are due to push some new fluid into the system. I’ve done several brake pad replacement jobs without needing to bleed. I’ve never had to use loctite, but that’s definitely not a bad idea!
How often do we have to change it?
Depends where you live, but I think 1-2 per year.
Thanks alot
No worries! 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Fantastic! Thank you. ❤️
Happy to help!
Do you know how to replace the sensor/thermostat on this kitchen aid double oven (freestanding range) not a wall oven???
Unfortunately, no. I’ve not had to do that yet on mine. Just had to do the igniters multiple times.
I added clear silicone along the part to glue it
Probably a good call to help keep them in place!
What seat covers are those?
Those were some kind of cheap ones off Amazon that my wife got. I finally convinced her to get rid of them!
Why can't I buy this in the UK?
🤷🏻♂️ wish I could help you with that one dude!
One thing I've noticed while watching different videos of this issue, no one showed the SUD cleared from the screen.
Yeah that’s fair. Don’t think I ever showed that. Once you get that filter cleaned and all that crap cleared out, just turn the machine off and back on. SUD error will be gone. I’ve done this multiple times now over the years.
Also, I was watching a different video regarding the need to disable the park assist with something on the hitch. Something about you have to disable it every time you turn off/on the car. This sounds pretty annoying. What are your thoughts on that?
Dude, that park assist thing is super annoying. You do have to remember to disable it every time. So if you are on a road trip, you gotta remember to do it every time you re-start the car. After it screams at you a couple of times and you can’t back up, you quickly remember to do it. But I’d REALLY like if they just had a push button enable/disable somewhere on the dash. It’s a good safety feature that can keep you from accidentally hitting a kid or something, so I get the intent. But still not user friendly at all.
@@DadDoingStuff I wonder if that can be rewired or tricked so a button can be made.
Good question!
6:09 - The cheaper bike racks need that u-bolt. The more expensive racks have a turn knob that will tighten that down. Good suggestion though
Yeah the bike rack has that knob, but the riser hitch still needs the U-Bolt. It unfortunately is pretty loose where it interfaces with the receiver on the van. Not a perfect system but it works.
@@DadDoingStuff ohhh, I didn't think about that.
Surprised that cardboard could serve as a pilot block. Usually I use wood although I’ve used Sheetrock requiring visible screw holes. Staple holes only ! Brilliant!
Thanks Peter! I was honestly surprised myself at how well the cardboard worked!
So you use tire chains on your Sienna? If so what kind and what area do you live in? I'm in western Nebraska and live in the country in gravel/dirt roads
We carry chains (some generic pair) but have never had to put them on even once. Good tires and the AWD has always been more than enough. We are currently running the BFG Advantage TA tires from Costco and we are really happy with them.
@@DadDoingStuff that's great to hear. I can't remember what I saw on the 2024 model I test drove, but they looked decent. So you live in an area with lots of snow?
We are in Reno, NV. Fair bit of snow, but we go to Tahoe a lot to ski and definitely deal with plenty of snow up there.
I wish they would let you have spare tires on the LE upgrade package. I'm going to end up with a tire floating in a bag in back or in a thule on top :(
Yeah the fact that this isn’t just a standard feature on every trim level is beyond me. Zero reason they can’t have that as a standard. Run-Flat tires SUCK! And carrying a full size spare sucks. Not sure if you’ve seen those “collapsible” spares, but those look like a good alternative to a full size spare. They collapse down to a much smaller size, just need to have a compressor handy to inflate them when needed.
Even though you have the tv in yours, have you ever looked at headrest ones? I need to get the LE model so i can have 8 seats and AWD so no TV.
Interestingly, we really never use the overhead screen. We didn’t really want it to begin with, but this model just happened to have it. Kids tend to just use an iPhone/iPad 99% of the time during long road trips. If our kids were younger, we’d probably use it more frequently.
@@DadDoingStuff my kids (5) are 9 and under and only 1 shared iPad, but certainly different for us then
Wow
Haha, yeah I was surprised with the results.
Thank you. Do you every park it outside during the cold of winter?
It stays in the garage 99% of the time, but our garage isn’t insulated. So it gets well below freezing in that garage during the winter.
its not a tesla.
Genius!! Thank you
Thank you! Glad to help!
I came for the car and got an accessory review
Bonus content! 😉
Hi,I am in the dealer and having my service. They want to charge me 162 for the Cabin filter and engineer air filter change. Thanks for your video. Save me a lot of money! Can my 22 Sienna XSE Hybrid use the same filter or different?
Same filter in 2021-current model year. Glad to help you save some $$! 😃
Thank you for making this oil change look easy! I have a 2024 Sienna Limited and have wanted to change the oil prior to the 10K miles but have heard conflicting information on whether to do it or not. Some say the manufacturer uses break in oil for the first oil change so leave it alone, and others say just do what the manufacture requires which is 10k, and then again , others say, you should change the first oil after 1000 miles. I have 6.9K after 5 months of use of mostly highway miles from 2 long trips of 2.8K each. Well, I’m over the 1 K, but still less than the 10k. I suppose it would help to just replace the oil now. Thanks for demonstrating how to reset the maintenance reminder. That’s a bit annoying.
I don’t think Toyota changes anything until 10k. Clearly won’t hurt to do that first one sooner though. This van is honestly one of the easiest oil changes I’ve ever done! Thx for watching!
Probably has something to do with DEI hires. Just look at Boeing. Pathetic.
Mostly seems like a bad design to me, but 🤷🏻♂️
which model of the sienna do you have?
2021 Limited AWD.
I'd rather use Deco rocks against the brick you don't have to be so exact
Yeah that’s fair….definitely don’t need to be as precise.
The blade that comes with this saw is wildly underrated. Typically, you buy a product and you need to spend another $50 for a better blade. I have personally caught several hundred FEET of 1" thick oak flooring boards and the blade still cuts clean and with no smoke.
Very good point, it is a solid blade!
Only a few moments in…. I’d rather say that it seems to me that the cord guide has a small indentation for the electric cord, and a bigger one for the purpose of dust collection. Those indentations should have been way deeper to be fully effective.
This saw does struggle with the built in dust collection. Works better with a shop vacuum attached for sure. Albeit that also makes cutting a little more difficult with a hose to manage.
camerawork shows the details clearly. Thanks!
Happy to help dude!
@DadDoingStuff yeah, it was easy. The STP engine air filter doesn't fit, after 3 tries. See you other video.
I can’t control the volume with my blue tooth car play adapter. It used to work somewhat. It is just the sound, volume doesn’t work at all. Any suggestions ?
Assuming you are trying to control volume on the van, not via the phone? Same brand adapter? We have zero issues with Volume control on ours. Also, does volume work when using wired CarPlay?
FYI Dawn dish soap removes any wax or paint protectors from your cars. Use a car soap that is made for the application and your clear coat and paint will stay protected. Back to the regular scheduled broadcast.
Yeah…….had an overwhelming number of folks mention that. I’ve mended my ways and switched to good old car wash!
@@DadDoingStuff I guess we are just looking out. I used Dawn, all my younger years and switched about 20 years ago now. Nice vid. Glad to see a long term use of the white FS. Cleaned up pretty easy.
@@stumpbumpers Appreciate everyone looking out for me! Thanks for taking time to comment.
Dude. I have 2021 xse awd and i totally hate everything you mentioned. The trunk, the cup holder, so many times i spilled coffee all over.
You get it! Funny how much internet hate I got for even bringing these things up! 🤣🤣
Easy to follow! Thank you! I’ve used a washable K&N VF2054, a little tricky to align the rubber seal with the middle fin, but appears to be a solid filter overall.
Heck yeah! Reusable is even better!
Thank you
Happy to help!
How fast does it dry, and how long before it can get wet?
Dry to the touch in a couple of hours (depending on the temperature outside). Ready for water in 24hrs.
Looking at an AWD 2024 LE version. Glad you hear about winter driving since I live in the country and hope to use this most of the time and only break out the old Suburban in really bad weather.... Got 5 kids to haul
Yeah man, we are 4 winters in so far and we’ve not even come close to needing chains. Just keep good tires on it. Running the BF Goodrich Advantage T/A tires (purchased at Costco) right now and so far I’m super happy with them.
